Pertex® is a popular mounting medium intended for use after clearing in xylene, ethanol and some xylene substitutes.

Product Details

  • Quick-drying, xylene-based mounting medium with low viscosity. The low viscosity enables the medium flow and prevents the formation of bubbles.
  • Refractive index of 1.492 which is very close to that of glass and does not affect the form, structure or colour of the mounted specimen.
