pfm medical ag donates consumables to aid medical care. The Cologne medical technology company responded to a request put out by BVMed, Germany’s national medical industry organisation, to its member companies across Germany. The aid initiative was launched by the CDU member of national parliament Thomas Stritzl from the city of Kiel.

The container is now on its way by sea from Rotterdam to Monrovia in Liberia. The donated equipment should reach Monrovia in end-January. It was a major concern at pfm medical to respond to this call for help and support the battle against Ebola.

“We are very glad to be able to supply medical consumables to support doctors working on the front line. We are hugely impressed that so many people, organisations and companies are working with such energy to combat Ebola” said Aurel Schoeller, Chairman of the Management Board at pfm medical ag.
