Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

pfm medical UK Ltd has been established since 2007 and is the UK subsidiary of pfmmedical gmbh. pfm medical UK Ltd is committed to supplying high quality medical products to the NHS, Private Hospitals, Research and Development Centre’s, Laboratories and all other care services as well as offering free complimentary training from its highly skilled clinical support staff.

The Company is committed to driving out acts of modern-day slavery and human trafficking within its business and that from within its supply chains, including sub-contractors, and partners.

The Company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services to the organisation. These, as well as the suppliers of services make up the supply chain to and from the Company.

As part of the Company’s due diligence processes into slavery and human trafficking the supplier approval process will incorporate a review of the controls undertaken by the supplier. Imported goods from sources from outside the UK and EU are potentially more at risk for slavery/human trafficking issues. The level of management control required for these sources will be continually monitored. Supplier Evaluation forms will be sent to all suppliers every October to ensure their practices remain in line with the desired requirements of pfm medical UK Ltd.

The Company will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.

The Company Directors and senior management shall take responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate resources and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the organisation and within its supply chains. pfm medical UK Ltd invest in appropriate annual training which is released to all employees via the Atlas platform.

pfm medical UK Ltd is dedicated to continuous improvement in all aspects of the business and will continue to perform Modern Slavery due diligence checks on both current and new suppliers. It will also continue to adhere to the quality management system ISO 9001 and the environmental management system ISO 14001 requirements. A target has been set to be awarded level 1 status in the NHS England Evergreen Framework by 2025.

This policy statement will be reviewed regularly as required with a commitment to at least annually.
