Brexit and Post Brexit Supply

The UK has left the European Union and the transition period has ended. We have been working closely with our parent company, our suppliers and the regulatory authorities to ensure there is no negative impact to our customers post Brexit. 

This page will provide information on what we have done and what we are doing to maintain the service levels and the confidence are customers have in us.

We have everything in place to expedite border crossings and do not foresee any impact to our customers.  In 2019, we changed our warehousing system from a Just in Time system to a Just in Case system.  

Our domestic courier company is continuing to offer next day deliveries to all our customers in the majority of mainland UK.  For more remote areas we offer a 48 hour delivery service.

Our warehouse, based in Cheshire where all our stock is held has been expanded to enable us to hold higher levels of stock, the storage capacity has doubled enabling the Just In Case method of warehousing to run successfully.  

We are working closely with our supply chain to make sure that all the new post Brexit regulatory standards and requirements are met including the new UKCA marking.

If, and we suspect there will be very few cases, a Supplier is unable to adhere to the new regulation and therefore the product cannot be sold in the UK we will give you at least 4 weeks’ notice and advise if we have a suitable alternative at that time.

We have strict processes in place for the security of your data and our processes are just as robust post Brexit.
